ACCOMMODATION
Guest accommodation is uncluttered, warm, comfortable and simply relaxing, with unsurpassed views and carefully chosen touches of luxury - voile or taffeta drapes and cushions lavishly on the beds, some are locally hand-dyed silk, mohair rugs, interesting art, local poetry books and hand-made ceramic door name plates. Cotton bath sheets, hot tub robes, towel wraps and a range of toiletries. The décor is individual to each room, with colours inspired by the changing moods of the New Zealand landscape.

These spacious rooms capture unsurpassed panoramic views of the Tasman seascapes, sunsets and sunrises. Opening onto private balconies which protrude out from the lodge over the gardens - the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a days driving and activities. Superking (or twin beds by prior arrival request) are complimented with stylish lounge chairs for total relaxation. Seaside décor with voile drapes and different colour schemes make each room a special place. A complimentary selection of teas, coffee, port and treats awaits for your enjoyment. Ensuites have heated tile floors, de-misting mirrors, detailed glass tile or paua shell wall features, power showers of rain collected water.
Superior Accommodation NZ$450 per night including breakfast
The curved architecture of the lodge is a feature of each of these rooms, capturing amazing coastal vistas - sunset or sunrise, garden or forest views. 'Superior' rooms are individual in design and have one of the following characteristics - balcony, patio, or heritage bath. One ground floor room also has total mobility facilities with direct access to private patio and garden. King or Queen beds - (twin beds are available with a prior request). Ensuites with heated towel racks, de-misting mirrors, power shower or bath.
Facilities
All rooms have Sky TV. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities, home-made cookies, Antipodes water and chocolates are provided in the centrally located upstairs foyer. Some rooms have the facilities in the room. Wireless broadband internet connection and a laptop available for guest use. There is no smoking in any of the interior areas of the property, and Kapitea Ridge complies with the New Zealand Fire and Disability Total Access regulations and standards.
